Field Characters: A big tree 10-15 m high, flower buds profuse, set in racemous clusters perpendicular to the branchlets.
Locality: Dong na tat forest preserve, Km 19, Kaisone Phomvihan district, Savannakhet province. GPS reading: 19o 42.613’ N; 103o 35.405’ E.
Habitat: Monsoonal forerst. In forest opening.
Altitude: 160 m asl.
