Field Characters: Herbaceous plant, approximately 50 cm in height. Leaves alternate, margins slightly crenate, entire plant covered with small hairs. Fruits red, glabrous.
Locality: Sekong Province, Thateng District, Pa Leng Tai Village, Sekong MBP Thateng.
Habitat: Sekong MBP Thateng; partial shade.

Field Characters: Treelet, plant hairy, fruits green, glossy, flower buds dull greenish white, set on a long pedicel, disposed on a long, spreading, peduncled umbel. Not common.
Locality: Laos, Bolikhamxay Province, Paksan district, Somsavath Village, Medicinal Plant Preserve, at 20 km from Paksan city center.
Habitat: Secondary forest. Remnants of broadleaved evergreen, lowland tropical rain forest, in regeneration from past conversion process.
