Field characters: Treelet 6 m tall, flowers pale yellowish, fruits pinkish red.

Locality: Xieng Khoang province, Kham District, Kham Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, 15 km from Kham town. Ba Tha village.

Habitat: Broadleaved evergreen submontane forest. Forest with semi-open canopy.

Altitude: 1200 m asl
