Field Characters: Tree 8 m tall, leaves palmate, on a long petiole, flowers yellowish green, disposed in an umbel on a long pedicel, in turn, these umbels are disposed on a long, a terminal raceme.
Locality: Oudomxay Province, Muang Xay District, Donxay Village, Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, about 3 km south of the city. GPS reading: 20o 40.032’ N; 102o 00.133’ E.
Habitat: Near forest edge, in a broadleaved evergreen lowland tropical rainforest on a mountain slope.
Altitude: 730 m asl.
