Field Characters: Shrubby liana 2-3 m tall, leaves opposite, fruits globular, green, turning yellow to orange, 7 mm across, seed pulpy, pulp sweet.

Locality: Khammuan Province, Nyomalat District, Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, at the eastern flank of the Nakai Nan Theum National Park, at Phu Ak mountain.

Habitat: Secondary forest along the road.

Altitude: 204 m asl.
