Field Characters: Tree 6 m tall, branches pendulous, liana-like, flowers minute, whitish green, in dense clusters along branches and twigs, the clusters in turn arranged in a cymous cluster.
Locality: Oudomxay, Muang Xay District, Donxay Village, Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, about 3 km south of the city. GPS reading: 20o 39.858’ N; 102o 00.033’ E.
Habitat: Forest at the bottom of the slope in a broadleaved, mixed evergreen lowland tropical rainforest on a mountain slope.
Altitude: 740 m asl.
