Field Characters: Liana, leaves elliptical, spirally arranged, 1" – 1.5" long. In more mature plants small woody hooks subtend the stem singly.
Locality: Bolikhamxay Province, Bolikhan District, Somsavath Medicinal Plant Preserve, off road near Ban Kampay and Ban Somsavath.
Habitat: Roadside. Good quality, secondary rainforest, on a mountain slope.
