Field Characters: Shrub with simple opposite leaves, red stem, orange at base. Coarse hairs on stem and leaves. Flower violet, 5 petals, 5 sepals, green at center, pink on edges, 5 regular stamens, 5 showy stamens extending past others, all stamens onone side; 1 yellow stigma.

Locality: Bolikhamxay Province, Paksan District, Nong Sa Man Village.

Habitat: 

Altitude: 180 m asl.
