Locality: Savannakhet Province;  Kaysone District, forest at 2 km west of Dong Natat Medicinal Plant Preserve, 17 km east of the city along the south side of the road to Seno.

Habitat: Secondary forest on flat terrain, open canopy, with some big trees remaining standing. 

Altitude: 150 m asl.
