Field Characters: Treelet, stem brown, smooth, flower buds large, white, when opened petal surface inside with pinkish purple dots ornamentation. Only this tree seen.
Locality: Attapeu Province, Samakhi Xay District, Beng Phou Kham, Ban 52, at a roadside between Attapeu and Pakse, about 56 km from Attapeu, in the forested area of the Xenamnoi hydroelectric power dam.
Habitat: Roadside, edge of forest at base of a forested slope, in a submontane tropical rain forest.
Altitude: 210 m asl.
