Field Characters: Smal-medium tree, decussate, oblanceolate, shiny green leaves, with apical buds that are sticky, yellow and aromatic.

Locality: Bolikhamxay Province, Bolikhan District, Somsavath Medicinal Plant Preserve, off road near Ban Kampay and Ban Somsavath.

Habitat: Roadside. Good quality secondsary tropical rainforest, lowland.

Altitude: 163 m asl.
