Field Characters: Shrub 1.5 m tall. Many hard twigs, looking like thorns. Stem wood and root yellow. Orbicular leaves with entire margins, 2 by 2 cm broad, yellow-green. Oblanceolate leaf with denticulate margins. Stem wood light pink. Flowers yellow. Fruit globose to ovoid, green, when ripe yellow-red.
Locality: Savannakhet Province, Xonboury District, Ban Nonh Khu Neua.
