Locality: Xieng Khoang Province, Kham District, Khen Jong Village.

Habitat: Growing on the slope of the mountain.

Field characters: Large multi-stemmed shrub, leaves opposite, ovate, acute, with prominent midvein.

Locality: Xieng Khoang Province, Kham District, Xieng Khoang Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, forest on the other side of the small valley behind the lone huse with the animal pen, off the mountain road between Muang Kham and Ban Tha.

Habitat: Roadside. Good quallity secondary tropical rainforest, on a mountain slope.

Altitude: 1137 m asl.
