Field Characters: Big tree more than 30 m high. Leaves thick, wide, opposite, petiole short. Inflorescence a cyme with 5-6 flowers at the trunk and twigs, corolla red.

Locality: Champasac Province, Ba Chieng District, Nongxay Village.
