Field Characters: Big tree about 15-20 m tall, with opposite leaves and round fruits. When the fruit is ripe it is black in color.
Locality: Khammouana Province; Nyomalat District; Thongkong Village, roadside of Route to MBP at the southern reaches of Nakai Nam Theum National Park.
Habitat: Tropical rainforest on flat level lands.
Altitude: 150 m asl.
