Field Characters: Shrub 1.5 m tall, basally branched, leaves simple, alternate. Pubescence on stem soft, coarser on leaves. Leaves slightly oblong, dentate. Flowers axillary, deep purple with yellow center, 1-2 per axis, with multiple bud scars on length of peduncle.

Locality: Bolikhamxay Province, Paksan District, Nong Bua Village.
