Field Characters: Tree 15 m tall, dbh 20 cm, bark gray-white, slash greenish-yellowish, sap slight, sticky, leaves pinnate up to 1 ½ m long, fruits large up to 8 cm across, somewhat triangular in cross section, glabrous, 3-loculed.
Locality: Oudomxay, Muang Xay District, Donxay Village, Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, about 3 km south of city.
Habitat: Forest trail on the western mountain slope of the preserve, in a tropical rain forest formation.
Altitude: 741 m asl.
