Field Characters: Treelet 4 m tall, latex yellow. Plant sterile.

Locality: Bolikhamsai Province, Paksan District, Somsavath Village, Medicinal Plant Preserve, at 26 km from Paksan city center.

Habitat: Secondary forest. Remnants of broadleaved evergreen, lowland tropical rainforest, in regeneration from past conversion process.

Altitude: 190 m asl.

Field Characters: Large tree 15-20m tall, dbh 30 cm, bark blackish gray, smoothish, slash white, with dots of white latex. Fruits profuse, large, globular with a scar of stigma of center, slice of fruit shows yellow, thick latex. 

Locality: Oudomxay Province, Muan Xay District, Donxay Village, at the Medicinal Biodiversity Preserve, about 3 km south of the city.

Habitat: Forest on a mountain slope, in a broadleaved mixed, evergreen lowland tropical rainforest.

Altitude: 740-850 m asl.
