Field Characters: Treelet, leaves and branches opposite, leaves large and sturdy, dark green; bark gray with dark green striations. No latex noted. 

Locality: Bolikhamxay Province, Bolikhan District, Somsavath Medicinal Plant Preserve, off road near Ban Kampay and Ban Somsavath.

Habitat: Roadside. Good quality, secondary tropical rainforest, lowland.

Altitude: 163 m asl.
